You have no doubt seen or heard the commercials: "Where does depression hurt? EVERYWHERE. Who does depression hurt? EVERYONE." Mental illnesses can consume you, take over your entire life and hurt everyone around you if you let it. I am no exception.
My life feels like I am stuck riding on a rollercoaster in the middle of a hurricane. I have ups and downs, and I have left a path of destruction in my wake. My sanity dangles on a tiny fragile string, and through this blog I am giving the world a look into my broken mind and my unstable life.
In the end, I am just a girl trying to maintain my sanity in a candy-coated world of misery. Here you'll get a glimpse at just how true those commercials are. Keep your arms and legs inside the blog at all times, hold on tight, and prepare yourself for a very bumpy ride ...

Well, John Travolta doesn't look that different!
Just kidding.
I can see why this would bother you. It would bother me, too.
In reality it shouldn't bother me too much. I know that Oklahoma is one of the fattest states there is. We consistently rank as one of the unhealthiest states. There's fast food restaurants everywhere you look. The mayor of Oklahoma City is actively trying to get the city to be healthier and lose weight by launching the website: http://www.thiscityisgoingonadiet.com/ It's supposed to working. People are losing weight, but it's hard to know if the results are realistic or exaggerated.
OMG! This is too funny! The photoshopping is great on those pictures. Just goes to show that everyone is a star! (or could be).
Thanks for stopping by my blog (safeinsidethesolidlogwalls).
That is hilarious. I live in a rural area where as the doctors say, everyone is "fat and poor". So can sympathise, and with the strange fashions (though I am more of a wear whatever I like person than a fashionista myself, but ugg boots when going out to dinner??? No.....).
