You have no doubt seen or heard the commercials: "Where does depression hurt? EVERYWHERE. Who does depression hurt? EVERYONE." Mental illnesses can consume you, take over your entire life and hurt everyone around you if you let it. I am no exception.

My life feels like I am stuck riding on a rollercoaster in the middle of a hurricane. I have ups and downs, and I have left a path of destruction in my wake. My sanity dangles on a tiny fragile string, and through this blog I am giving the world a look into my broken mind and my unstable life.

In the end, I am just a girl trying to maintain my sanity in a candy-coated world of misery. Here you'll get a glimpse at just how true those commercials are. Keep your arms and legs inside the blog at all times, hold on tight, and prepare yourself for a very bumpy ride ...

One good Post Secret card, two that made me mad

This week's Post Secret updated 10 minutes ago. I'm so obsessive. It's actually Saturday night, and I just keep checking the website until it updates.

This first one just made me happy that this girl found someone who helped her through tough times...

Both of these made me think "fuck you." A family's approval of someone's mate should never be affected by the person's weight. I mean EVER. If a man makes a woman happy, then the woman's family should be happy and approve of him, point blank. I'm actually assuming the woman who did this card is the one who secretly has an issue with his weight. She's probably the one who has the problem, not her family.

This one pisses me off because if a woman doesn't want to shave her legs, that's her damn right. It's her body. She can do with it what she wants. Screw the husband...
