You have no doubt seen or heard the commercials: "Where does depression hurt? EVERYWHERE. Who does depression hurt? EVERYONE." Mental illnesses can consume you, take over your entire life and hurt everyone around you if you let it. I am no exception.

My life feels like I am stuck riding on a rollercoaster in the middle of a hurricane. I have ups and downs, and I have left a path of destruction in my wake. My sanity dangles on a tiny fragile string, and through this blog I am giving the world a look into my broken mind and my unstable life.

In the end, I am just a girl trying to maintain my sanity in a candy-coated world of misery. Here you'll get a glimpse at just how true those commercials are. Keep your arms and legs inside the blog at all times, hold on tight, and prepare yourself for a very bumpy ride ...

#7 -- that's usually how I am. In fact, I had to look the dates I listed up, because I only vaguely remembered the month! I will never forget the event though!

It sounds like you had a lot of "ups" this year. I pray that things keep improving for you.

Thanks for sharing this. I may re-post with my own reflections on 2010. I was actually just thinking how to address/approach this daunting topic. Thanks for the inspiration! :D *hugs*

Oh how I feel the same way about #6!

#7-I'm not good with dates either.

I wish I had spent more time in church this last year too. That is something I hope to change in 2011.

So many of your answers were mine as well. I think my greatest achievement would also be that I survived. And not only survived, but did so without doing major damage.

Happy New Year!

Congrats on your engagement!!

I'm HORRIBLE with dates! But I remember the moments!

I need to go to church more this year too. It gets too easy missing one sunday then the next and then 2 months went by.
