You have no doubt seen or heard the commercials: "Where does depression hurt? EVERYWHERE. Who does depression hurt? EVERYONE." Mental illnesses can consume you, take over your entire life and hurt everyone around you if you let it. I am no exception.

My life feels like I am stuck riding on a rollercoaster in the middle of a hurricane. I have ups and downs, and I have left a path of destruction in my wake. My sanity dangles on a tiny fragile string, and through this blog I am giving the world a look into my broken mind and my unstable life.

In the end, I am just a girl trying to maintain my sanity in a candy-coated world of misery. Here you'll get a glimpse at just how true those commercials are. Keep your arms and legs inside the blog at all times, hold on tight, and prepare yourself for a very bumpy ride ...

I Know I'm Losing You

1. Have you ever still been in a relationship that you knew was ending, but you hung in with it anyway? If yes, why?
I stayed with my exhusband for a lot longer than I should've. I was honestly afraid he'd kill me and my family and friends if I left him. He tried to kill me a bunch of times, so why wouldn't I be afraid to actually leave?

2. Tell why people around the world should be completely enthralled by you.
I turn any and all comments into something perverted

3. Other than where you live, what's your favorite city and why?
Urgh. Can't I just stay in my bed and not think about going to another city

4. What is something you are really passionate about?
Right now I'm obsessed with reading books. I've even started a blog to keep track of all the books I read this year: Click here to check it out

5. What has been your most exciting prize that you've won?
I won a $50 gift card to Walmart this week for my hard work over the holidays at my job. It's exciting because that will buy some groceries. Yay!

6. Do you think there was there a second gunman behind the grassy knoll?
Yep, and there was a third behind the billboard, and a fourth was riding the horse across the street

7. What was the silliest, most fun, crazy or impractical gift that you received?
I can't think of one I got myself, but I gave my younger brother a gun that shoots marshmallows a couple Christmases ago. Really I just wanted to play with it myself

8. What was the most practical gift that you received?
My mom bought me a couple rugs for my house this Christmas to cover some of the stains my exhusband left on the carpet from spilling all his liquor. I asked her for the rugs. I was sick of looking at the stains, and I don't have the money to replace all the carpet right now

9. What blogger has been in your blogroll the longest? How did you discover them?
I'd have to say Post Secret's blog site. I can't wait until the cards are posted each week. No clue how I even discovered it
